| The applicants must hold a high school diploma, be in good health and aged under 25, with a Chinese proficiency level basically sufficient to follow university courses given in Chinese. On passing the exams set by the university in accordance with the program chosen, the applicants can be admitted to do a bachelor¡¯s degree program at the university. If the applicants are not proficient enough in Chinese to follow the program, a one year¡¯s remedial course of Chinese can be arranged. |

| For admission to the master¡¯s degree program, the applicants must hold a bachelor¡¯s degree, be in good health and aged under 35. Admission is based on the recommendation of two professors (full or associate) and the result of the examination set by the university. Courses are generally given in Chinese. (The requirements set for Chinese proficiency are the same as those set for bachelor¡¯s degree applicants.) |

| For admission to the doctor¡¯s degree program, the applicants must hold a master¡¯s degree, be in good health and aged under 40. Admission is based on the recommendation of two professors (full or associate) or experts of equivalent status and the result of the examination set by the university. |

| Any foreigner who holds a high school diploma or its equivalent and is in good health and aged under 65 is eligible to apply. |
